Knox Gregory Copp was born at 25 weeks 6 days on August 12, 2021. 
2lbs & 13.75 inches
The biggest blessing imaginable. 


Our little man made his grand entrance 14 weeks early after a 2 week stay in the Antepartum unit . We went in for a normal OBGYN visit where a problem was identified and next thing we knew we had been admitted to the hospital and then transferred to another hospital that can care for babies earlier than 28 weeks. It was a whirlwind to say the least. We were monitored closely during those 2 weeks and did everything we could to keep him “cooking” a little longer. On the morning of August 12th, Knox had his own plans to enter our world.  The doctor came in to check me that morning and determined I was dilated and we needed to get to the OR for a c-section ASAP. About an hour later, Knox was born. We got a quick glimpse of our sweet baby boy before he was rushed to the NICU to begin care. The next few months will be full of ups and downs, but one thing is for certain…our little guy is such a strong fighter and will continue to show us how resilient he is.
