Kit has a new birthday - October 22, 2017. Thank goodness we were visiting San Antonio, Texas which has one of the finest heart hospitals in the nation. Thank goodness we were on the 7th floor of Methodist University Hospital where they saved his life. If he had not been sent up to 7th from 6th 90 minutes earlier - there is a good chance we would be planning a funeral. Yes, that close. Kit went into cardiac arrest for 21 minutes. I don't knowhow they did it but they brought him back. He did not see a white tunnel - we figure the doors were still closed to him. One artery was 100% blocked. 3 others were 75-95% blocked blocked. What is amazing is that his recovery is normal for a normal by-pass patient. The nurses are in awe that he is far exceeding those patients who have emergency conditions with his test results. This is his journey for recovery.
