In 2014, diagnosed with invasive breast cancer at age 46, I made the choice to stay positive, full of Hope, and rely on my faith throughout my treatment.  This was especially difficult when, during Chemo, I got an extreme C. Diff. Infection, that put me in ICU with doctors not sure if I would survive. I came out of the battle with a deepened understanding of the importance of JOY, HOPE and FAITH. I believed that small positive actions could add up to make a huge impact in the world and set forth to create a charity, Chick4acause that would help fulfill this mission.
