For anyone who does not already know, our dear sweet Kira was in a motorcycle accident on the evening of Thursday, March 31. Michael and Kira were on their way home from work (both on their motorcycles) and a car turned in front of them and Kira was unable to avoid the collision.
Kira was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Corvallis, OR with multiple injuries and head trauma. A few days later, she was transferred to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, as some of Kira's injuries required the expertise of Legacy's Trauma doctors and specialists.
