Hello, friends ~

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2020.  I had a unilateral mastectomy in August to remove the cancer.  Although I was initially diagnosed with DCIS, a non-invasive cancer, my surgery revealed that my cancer was invasive and would require chemotherapy and radiation.  On October 5, I will begin 20 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by 4 weeks of radiation.

 Although this journey has been difficult, my family and I have been encouraged and uplifted by the love, help, gifts and many prayers given on our behalf.  Thank you for your continued prayers for health and strength as you check in on my Caring Bridge!
