Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Kim is having her 7th abdominal surgery. Starting with a bowel rupture in May of 2002 at that time it did an acid wash on all of her abdominal organs. That burnt off all of the protective coating on the organs. As her body tried to heal itself that created internal scar tissue called adhesions. All abdominal organs are stuck together with thick fibrous adhesions. A large hernia containing her stomach, liver, gall bladder and colon needs to be repaired. A new abdominal wall will be rebuilt using the hip flexor muscles. It will be complete abdominal reconstruction.
