My journey started back on July 1, 2019, as most of you know. Diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer, we immediately called MDAnderson in Houston and was admitted for treatment. I have had 6 chemotherapy treatments since September with shrinkage in tumors located in the liver and peritoneal area. One tumor located on an ovary grew so the consensus was to remove both ovaries so that chemo could continue to work on the rest. Healing will commense over the holidays and chemo will start back up in January.
