Kimberly has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  It's been a shock for us given Kimberly's age, lack of family history, and having a young family to raise.  We are sad but hopeful.  Her prognosis is very good, and she's a fighter.  So, cancer doesn't stand a chance.  We've got this.

Kimberly has been an inspiration to me.  She stays at home with our two young children (5 and 2 years old) - always insisting that they stay engaged, taking them to the library, swimming pool, parks, and play dates.  She's constantly play-battling with spider man (Jack) and having tea time with Eleanor.  In the little time she has away from the kids, she loves to exercise - usually a yoga or spin class.  She's a trustee for our neighborhood association.   She's always there for a friend in need.  And, on top of all of that, she supports me immensely, allowing me to quit my job and start a business.

She does it all with a smile and selflessness.  And, while this diagnosis has caused us fear and sadness, she hasn't missed a beat.  We're so lucky to have her.

So, I've created this site to let everyone know what's going on and to keep friends and family updated on her progress.  We really appreciate your support and words of encouragement.  We are not asking for monetary support - just your spiritual and emotional support.  For anyone interested in sending Kimberly a card or note, our address is 8 Country Fair Lane, St. Louis, MO, 63141.
