Brief overview here since many of you know everything about me. I live in a small town in SD with my amazing husband who without him I could not have gotten through some of the struggles of last year. I was born with a disease that affects my liver and when I was almost 3 years old received a liver transplant. Throughout my life I have had many surgeries and been in the hospital many times due to this and being immune compromised. In 2009 I was diagnosed with PTLD (Post-Transplant Lymphoperliferative disease). Which was caused by my anti-rejection medications. I was taken off them at this time. I also developed seizures. Since then my seizures are controlled by medications and I see a neurologist yearly to make sure they stay that way. I continuously have to have check ups and follow-ups to monitor my PTLD as it can turn into Lymphoma. I also found I have no immune system so have to have monthly IVIG infusions to keep that built up. In 2014 my labs became concerning, I went up to Mayo clinic where is was decided to do a biopsy and got diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I began 6 months of treatment which was completed in the summer of 2014. I continued with the IVIG infusions as it is part of the treatment plan. As of July 2014 I am in remission at this time and now have reached a point I only do every 6 month follow-ups. Thank
