Hi  Welcome to Kim's Caring Bridge website.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Some of you may know that in December Kim was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer.  She is scheduled for a mastectomy and the first stages of breast reconstruction on the morning of January 31st.  The surgery will take place at the Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain.  Kim's prognosis is excellent as she was very proactive screening for breast cancer due to a family history and the cancer was caught very early.  She will be unable to lift or drive for 4-6 weeks. 

We understand that many of you are looking for ways to help and we are organizing meal signups on this site starting at the end of January.  If you would like to sign up, Click on "Ways to Help" and then click on "Task Planner."  In the meantime we appreciate all your love, support, and encouragement.  Kim will be reading all your well wishes here on Caring Bridge.  Thank you for visiting and if you know someone who has not received this email and would like to help, please feel free to share it.
