Kharis McGee

 Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Kharis McGee. She has been a cheerleader from when she first started walking  until she graduated from Weddington High School in June 2020.  She entered Winston-Salem State University in August 2020 as an eager freshman .  Kharis started experiencing pain in her arm after working out one day in October 2020. In February 2021 she had an MRI on her right arm. On March 2, the orthopedic surgeon did a biopsy of the right proximal humerus and the pathology report confirmed the diagnosis  of osteosarcoma.
