I was diagnosed with severe pan colitis (ulcerative colitis) in October of 2015 after returning from a trip to Mexico where I became very ill. After several treatment options that weren't effective, I ended up spending several days in the hospital attempting to reduce the inflammation in my colon before I could proceed with the next treatment option.
