My amazing son, born with Down Syndrome when I was 18. He had Open Heart Surgery 2.21.1976. He is very intelligent. I raised him no different then my other children , EXCEPT, I always let him to be Down's. In our life he has raised us in the amazing love that God's sent here to spread. We have seen the world through his heart and we are better people for that! He was in great health until he got COPD. He is on O2 24/7. But still active. Kevin loves life and loves been with his family making memories. Big Wrestling , Michael Jackson and Motown Fan. 3 years ago he was in distress, diagnosed with rare Portal Vein Thrombosis. Blood clots form in legs and lungs, usually dissolve with meds. His form in portal veins/arteries that flow blood through his organs. Causing Acites, fuild forming between abdomen and lungs, usually with in a week it can be as much as 9 liters, laying on his lungs. New diagnosis -Non alcoholic Cirrhosis of the liver. Diabetes. Weeken diaphragm. New heart murmur. And more ...causing long hospital stays. U of M Hospital GO BLUE💙 He is my hero💙💛. He wants to make the world around him, that is full of loving family and friends, happy, so he never complains. I am his voice. We have an abundance of 'Kevin's Pray Warrior's' always with us in heart and prayer. Life with him in it ...is a much better world.
