On Thursday, June 4th, after experiencing some symptoms, it was discovered that Kevin has two inoperable brain tumors.  A biopsy on June 10th indicated that the tumor is a Glioblastoma.  As you can imagine this has been a very difficult time for the entire Mikes' family.  At this time they will be receiving ongoing treatment through Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Kevin is already experiencing side affects such as speech and motor difficulties.  They are unable to start treatment for a few weeks yet while the surgical site from the biopsy heals.  The plan is to start radiation therapy in another two weeks as well as chemotherapy.  Other interventions such as physical therapy will be put into place to assist with some of the side affects.

Knowing how much Kim and Kevin are loved and respected we know many people have been reaching out to know how they can help at this time.  First and foremost, please pray daily for Kevin's health and to put the right people in their path through this journey.  We will be setting up a meal sign up to help as treatments start so please watch for more information to come on that.  Well wishes can be sent to N9671 Eagle Road, Eagle, WI 53119.
