On Monday, March 6, 2017, Kevin went in for a routine colonoscopy screening. During the procedure, a mass was found in his colon. Several biopsies were taken and the results came in on Thursday, March 9th, that it was cancer. Surgery has been scheduled for Monday, April 17th at Methodist Mansfield. A CT scan was done on Friday, March 10th. Kevin met with his cardiologist (since he is also a heart patient) to get clearance for the surgery to happen and is scheduled for a stress test on Wednesday, April 5th. We don't know what stage the cancer is or what treatment (if any) will be needed. Continue to pray for Kevin, Heather, William & Eli as they walk this journey together. GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!
