Kevin was in a terrible bicycle accident on Sunday, September 25th  in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. He was air lifted to UofL Hospital where the medical staff worked tirelessly to give him the urgent care he needed. Initially, the outlook was very grim, but he made it through his first surgery. He suffered bleeding and swelling on the brain and had to have part of his skull removed to help alleviate pressure and swelling. He has a fractured scapula, clavicle and  multiple facial fractures,  as well as multiple rib fractures. He ended up with fluid in his lungs and now has a chest tube as well.  A second scan showed more bruising on the brain. His situation is very critical at this time... but hopeful.  He may need more surgeries in the upcoming days. The Doctors said that these first 3-5 days are the most critical.

He is an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle and friend! I have already received an outpouring of support and love and am eternally grateful! I will be updating this page daily.  At this point, I'm not sure what Molly or I will need but I am asking for Prayers.  I would appreciate visitors to be kept at a minimum right now. It's important for him to rest and heal.  As soon as the Doctors feel that he is out of the woods, I will let everyone know!

Kevin is  a fighter! He's strong, healthy and was able to get treatment very quickly. Please keep him and all his family in your prayers!

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."  - Isaiah 41:10
