Kevin was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, stage 3, on September 23, 2010, medically referred to as adeno carcinoma of the esophagus.  Since that time Kevin has undergone six major surgeries of which all but one where performed at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.  He has endured numerous rounds of  both chemo and radiation since that time as well.  The esophageal cancer has mestatsized a variety of times between 2010 to today - from Musculoskeletal cancer to now lymphatic cancer.  Despite the numerous challenges along the way, Kevin continuously maintained a very positive, uplifting and can do spirit.  He has become and continues to be an inspiration to many.
