Hello everyone,
We're creating this page so that people who know Kevin can get an update on his status. For those of you that don't know the story here's the breakdown.

Kevin and Denise were down at the family cottages on 6/30/16. They were scheduled to leave for Dale Hollow the next day to see their best friends Jamie and Mary for the holiday weekend. Denise and Kevin were about to head for the grocery store when he began having chest pains. On the way to the grocery store he began vomiting and losing feeling in his legs. Long story short, he ended up in and ambulance to Cameron Hospital in Angola. He was then airlifted to ParkView Heart Institute in Fort Wayne to be operated on immediately. Kevin had an aortic aneurysm that blocked blood flow to his legs and kidneys. After a long night on Thursday, he made it through surgery and replaced the section of his aorta replenishing the blood flow to his entire body. Had it not been for the quick response time from all parties, especially his wife Denise, we probably wouldn't be writing this update.

The road to recovery has been astonishing. 7 or 8 hours after the surgery he was starting to wake up and respond to the people around him. He is off of the ventilator and recovering slowly. Every hour that passes he has more color in his face and another joke to tell.

I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers through this. We'll keep everyone updated on here as things move forward.
