From Mary Fisher:   Regarding Kevin Fisher

On Monday evening (1/7/19), Kevin had a seizure at our home.   After calling 911, assistance arrived within 10  from an EMS staff, a Sheriff and the Waunakee and Middleton EMS units.  They were amazing, competent and so very compassionate . He was quickly transported to St Mary's Hospital where he stayed for 3 nights. Tests, CT scans, an MRI and spinal tap were performed and a tumor was located in the left side of his brain. There was no indication of this tumor until he had the seizure. Everything has been normal and healthy up to this point. He had even taken 2 strenuous bike rides into the countryside on Saturday and Sunday with his usual energy.

From what we've been told by our friends and family who are physicians, there is great reason for hope in that the tumor is operable and that Kevin will heal.   At this point more than ever, we are so aware of our total dependence on God and we are trusting Him in all things. This is not taking God by surprise and He will use this in our lifes in an amazing way. The journey has begun.

We've been blessed with the support of neighbors, the Fisher and Chen Family , our church family at Harvest Bible Chapel, friends and co-workers...the outpouring of LOVE has been beautiful and more than we could have imagined - we thank you for that.

A wise man suggested that we set up a Care Bridge page to keep you informed. So thank you for caring!

Kevin is back at school today and plans on teaching until his scheduled surgery on February 20th. (That is the tentative plan) As we know more, we will add it to the CB page. We need prayer for healing, for strength and hope and for wisdom for the medical team that will be treating Kevin.
