Hi there and Happy Summer of 2018! If you’re reading this then you know that Kevin has started an important journey to have his heart ‘updated’! Kevin was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HOCM) in January and with the help of friends we found our way thru Atlanta Piedmont/Emory and Cleveland Clinic doctors. Smart doctors! Wonderful smart loving friends! We are forever indebted.
This week we head to Cleveland for open heart surgery (a septal myectomy with possible valve replacement) on Friday July 20th. Joanne will update pre/post surgery at least for a few days on this site, and if you'd like to private message her - the number is 404 694 0243. I will be 'off the grid', for likely a week or so.... With the expectation of success, we hope to be back in Atlanta in August.
