Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In early 2016, Kevin noticed a dull pain on his left thigh. It bothered him slightly, but he figured it was just a sore muscle from working out, and being Marine- like, he didn’t give it a second thought.   However, by early April, a distinctive lump had developed. After x-rays at the end of the month, it was determined that it was cancer, potentially Multiple myeloma or a sarcoma.

Kevin entered the hospital and treatment on May 16, 2016. After two biopsies, a rare and aggressive cancer - undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma-was diagnosed. His leg was amputated above the knee on June 15, 2016. Not long after it was determined that the cancer had metastasized to his lungs.

Kevin’s battle continues, but he rests in full assurance  and confidence that God is good and that HE is working  all things for Kevin’s good and HIS own glory.

Thank you to all of you for your love and support - expressed by countless meals, precious words of encouragement, acts of service, and most importantly, prayers for Kevin and his family. We are humbled and grateful for the gift of YOU.
