On the evening of Friday, February 17th 2017 Kevin was involved in a motor-vehicle accident of pick-up truck/trailer versus motorcycle. Unfortunately Kevin was driving the motorcycle, and without any witnesses, we do not know how it happened. He had multiple serious injuries and was in ICU for three weeks, then a step-down unit, then in-patient rehab for for a total of 2 months in the hospital. Since returning home April 11, 2017 Kevin has endured many months of physical therapy and is now learning to use a fancy prosthetic leg.
