Kevin Allan

On Memorial Day Kevin was taken to the Emergency Room at Kaiser Hospital in San Jose with severe abdominal pain.  Two days later he was moved to ICU.  Pancreatitis and a blockage to the pancreas led to organ complications. Once the medical team discovered a blockage in the intestine and performed surgery (an ileostomy) Kevin began to improve. There have been many ups and downs in the last three weeks. Kevin has been on a respirator and was in an induced coma for some time. The last week the medication was lowered and Kevin was awake and responding.

During this time Heather was constantly at Kevin's side as our family and friends helped to support Heather, Austin and Brooklyn. Cousin Sydney took time off and flew from Boston to join the loving circle surrounding the family.  And Dani, the kid's nanny has been amazing. Kevin's family are in touch constantly and were able to see Kevin in the hospital. 

We have felt the love and support of so many family members and friends. Churches and prayer groups from Morgan Hill to Walnut Creek and New York are constantly praying for Kevin. We love and appreciate all of you and Kevin knows and feels your love.
