I found out that I have ovarian cancer on Monday, October 16th.  What followed was a flurry of tests and doctor's appointments and a roller-coaster ride of emotions.  I have an amazing care team at Kaiser-Permanente and my surgeon and oncologist are top-notch.  I'm having surgery at St. Joe's hospital on Tuesday, October 24th at 12:30pm and should be home on Thursday or Friday.  After I recover, I will have eighteen weeks of chemo ahead of me.  Peter, Nathan and Katy are handling this very well and we are all 100% focused on me getting cured.  I have never felt so loved.  Thanks for visiting my site and please leave a message.
