Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In April of 2019, at age 89, Ken was diagnosed with stage four Prostate cancer.  This was a shock because in January, JoAnn and Ken, plus Nancy and Mark and Kathy were in Jamaica for vacation.  On that trip, he was active walking the beach, sight seeing, and trying new foods.  Upon return, he started experiencing hip pain which in turn led to his cancer diagnosis.

On Father’s Day, Ken experienced a  cardiac incident with numerous life threatening complications  and spent 6 days in intensive care at UW
Hospital.  He was very sick but by a blessing from God was able to recover which allows him to spend more quality time with his family and friends.  It is our family’s hope that our remaining time together is filled with laughter, love, and good conversation.
