Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Kent has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The word cancer is scary and we have a lot of people praying for us. We know we are loved and need to share the journey. We are filled with hope and faith and hopeful to experience the “cancer free” term. We have steps to get there. A routine CT scan discovered a mass in the left lower node of his lung. Hence, a biopsy was performed, resulting in the diagnosis of malignancy. Sad and tough day. The next steps are a PET scan and brain scan (MRI). That is scheduled for Sept 4th. So, on we go, with many prayers that are wrapped around, and our savior walking beside us, in hope! The hardest part to date as that Kent feels super good, no symptoms of any kind, energy level is awesome, love of life is awesome. We ask you keep us in your prayers, prayer is powerful!
