Welcome to our Caring Bridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. I will try to provide a weekly update on Ken's status. It's been hard trying to keep up with phone calls, emails, texts and Facebook messages from friends and family so I need to try to provide info on one site.
Kenny thought he pulled a muscle in early January after lifting something very heavy. He had right chest pain and right back pain. After a few doctor visits, a few tests, and a few more doctor visits and tests, a small mass on his right lung was discovered, which was diagnosed as cancer on March 17. A PET scan the following week determined it was stage IV as it had spread to other areas. He is currently undergoing chemo and the hope is to stop the cancer from growing and/or spreading anymore.
