From Jan: This has been a crazy year.  Ken was diagnosed a year ago with Mantle Cell Lymphoma.  His chemo treatment went very well.  BUT, in June he was told it most likely would return.  Stem Cell Replacement was recommended as the best way to defer a recurrence.  SO, here we are!! 

On Weds., July 26, he will enter Massachusetts General Hospital and receive 6 days of chemo.  Then, he'll get back all of the stem cells they took from him.  While he has no immune system to fight off disease, he'll remain in MGH (about 18 days).  Next, he'll come home, but still be 'confined to quarters'.

My plan is to write when he's not feeling well and have him take over the blog as he gets better.
