Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
This verse is precious as we reflect all that has happened in the last days and weeks. When we found out our miracle pregnancy held two babies, our joy-cup was filled with amazement and wonder! Twins!! We were thrilled. It was a double miracle and fun to plan for two. A double stroller. Two car seats. Matching outfits and all those fun things. We found out the babies were boys and were delighted to think of Adrick having two brothers to grow up with and perhaps even be there for him in some of his disabilities. God was writing our story all along and although we had our fears with a high-risk pregnancy, we trusted He was a good Father who delights in giving His children good things. We still believe that with all our hearts, yet we also recognize life is not perfect or fair on this side of Glory. Our lives took a sudden turn and many dreams have ended in tears and pain. It is not as we wished or planned but by God's grace we cling to the promise that "all things work together for good to those who love God."
