In 2008 Kelly was diagnosed with prostate cancer. They removed his prostate however the cancer spread to his bones. He has had chemo and radiation to help with spreading and pain relief. However, it never rid of it entirely.
On Monday, September 19th he was hospitalized until Friday. During that time an MRI showed new cancerous cells and a tumor that is 1.45 inches in his brain.
On Wednesday, September 28th he will go into surgery for a left frontal craniotomy to remove the tumor. The surgery will be 3-4 hours and then hospital stay 3-5 days after.
Sandy Phend (Kelly's wife) and Kandy Lange (daughter) will use this site to keep everyone updated.
