Keith visited the doctor in November 2021 after noticing a lump in his neck. After 2 separate biopsies Keith was diagnosed with T lymphoblastic lymphoma./leukemia. During the week of January 10, 2022 he is completing a series of tests to confirm diagnosis develop a treatment plan. Our goal is to cure this cancer. The week of January 17th he will start 3-4 days of inpatient chemotherapy. After that he will go home to recover and repeat this same treatment every 3 weeks. Right now the plan is that this will continue over the next 4-6 months. Keith may also need a bone marrow transplant, but won’t know that until at least after the first round of treatment.

Keith asks that everyone stay positive and help keep life as “normal” as possible. Keith and his family have a large army of support which is already appreciated. If you are looking for a way to help, Keith’s oncologist recommends that you donate blood or sign up to be a bone marrow donor. Keith and many cancer patients often need blood transfusions and/or bone marrow transplants as part of their treatment.
A meal train has also been set up to ease the burden of meal planning while focusing on getting well.
