Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Keira Lee was diagnosed on August 31 with Congential Hypogammaglobulinemia or CVID. She is 13 years old, a competitive dancer and has a big heart! We are learning more and more about her rare condition and want to share her journey. 
Keira “Bug” has struggled with her immune system for as long as we can remember. She has had tubes in her ear twice, adenoids and tonsils removed and also has a skin condition called Keratosis Pilaris. Most of these are extremely common and nothing out of the ordinary. However during her 7th grade school year, she was sick so much! When she was suffering from yet another fever for a week, her older sister took her to the pediatrician to inquire about the cause of her 30th missed day of school! And there it all begins...
