Ella was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer in March of 2020. At that time she only required surgery and then close surveillance through scans and blood work. A couple weeks ago we found out that one of her blood tests was elevated and more scans were ordered. Unfortunately on October 1, 2021 we learned that the cancer was back and had spread to a lymph node in her abdomen. She will need surgery and chemo this time and will be away from school throughout her treatment. We have decided to create this page as a way of keeping everyone up to date on this journey. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support - it means the world to all of us.
