Keaks is a fighter. He is the sweetest 3 year old little boy you will ever meet, and is genuinely a happy kid. His story includes being a younger brother, being one of many cousins in his family, being a sweet friend to many, and being loved by absolutely everyone, a lot of which he hasn't even had the chance to meet yet. He loves to play and watch sports (has been watching full football games since he was a baby!), play with his cars and trucks, color, paint, and loves to play outside. His current favorites are Mickey Mouse, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, PJ Mask, The Arizona Cardinals, and of course whatever else his older brother Brody is into at that time.
In the middle of October '17, Keaks got diagnosed with cancer, formally diagnosed as Stage IV WILMS with Favorable Histology. He had a grapefruit size tumor that overtook his left kidney, which were both safely removed. The tumor had already spread to his lungs prior to surgery, which has now forced him into the treatment path including radiation and chemotherapy.
