Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. It began last summer when Ken developed back and stomach pain, which soon led to testing, biopsies and exploratory surgery. In mid-October, Ken was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Because the cancer has spread, it is not operable. On October 15, Ken began an aggressive chemotherapy regimen at the Alfond Center for Cancer Care in Augusta, a nine-hour marathon with two additional days on a home chemo pump.
