We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most. my name is Lisa Green. I created this page for me and my daughter Kayla, so we can share our journey through Cancer and Bone Marrow Transplant. Kayla was only 21 when diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. she has battled this disease, 6 rounds of chemotherapy and 11 bone marrow biopsies in the last year and 1/2. we are scheduled now for transplant on June 21, 2016. it is a very scary, nervous, trying time for us - but the power in prayer has overcome the fear of cancer. so im starting a personal journal. I want to read from the beginning how scared and nervous I was until I reach the end of it all, and then read how relieved and happy and satisfying this all was.
