Welcome to our Caring Bridge site.

We are here to share Katrina's Tennessee adventure to a world of healing at St. Jude.  We hope you come here and keep yourself, family and friends updated and we will share the good news and have a little fun.

Katrina's tumor is called an ependymoma.  This first occurred in 2015 and she had surgery to remove the tumor and her treatment included radiation.  Katrina was cancer free for three and a half years.  During a routine MRI in late December, there have been many MRIs, a new growth was found.  Katrina discussed and decided to remove the new growth right away.  After recovering from surgery, the best option was to come to St. Jude in Memphis, Tennessee to receive further treatment.  The treatment will again be radiation.  The first treatment was photon radiation and this treatment will be proton radiation.  We are in the best of hands here at St. Jude, surrounded by good doctors, nurses and staff.

We cannot express enough how much we appreciate your love, support and prayers.  God's love and kindness is abundant in you.  We hope you enjoy following the adventure.
