December 21, 2017: Not good with punchlines or writing in general. I thought I was happy and content with my life and now my world has turned upside down. A cancer diagnosis is always shocking. A breast cancer diagnosis while having your mom going through treatment for incurable breast cancer and living 6,154 miles away is more frightening than usual...May the force be with me.
October 17, 2019:
My mom is no longer with me after a 6 1/2 year battle with de novo metastatic breast cancer. I'm trying to move on. Hoping that the 13% chance of recurrence will be a statistic that won't apply to me.
March 24, 2022:
I've received the news that I have a bone metastasis in my right femur.
