I opened this website because I am going on a trip to teach English, healthcare, and other subjects to children and adults in Madagascar. Madagascar currently needs our help with education as well as basic needs such as clean food, water, and shelter. To make this trip possible I need to raise about $5,000-$6,000. Airfare alone is the majority of the cost. I also want to bring some supplies along with me, such as water filters, first aid materials, and school supplies, to give to the locals in the villiages I will be working in. Also, as many of you know helping people with disabilities is a passion of mine. The organization I'm going through does not have any information about people living with special needs in the country. I want to make it a mission of mine to learn what it is like living in Madagascar with special needs and see if I can make a difference. I'm not sure what even inspired to to do this trip, I just woke up one morning and felt it was my calling. I chose to go to Madagascar because it is somewhere a lot of people don't think of but they need the most help. I will be leaving in the end of May and will be staying in country for about 6-7 weeks. I have never done anything like this and it will be completely out of my comfort zone but I believe it will be incredibly life changing. Thank you so much for your support!
