Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.  As most of you know Katie had heart surgery as a newborn and we have always known her time would come for additional work.  Thursday, Katie will be going to Christ Hospital to have a Pulmonary Valve replaced as well as a "sleeve" put on one of her arteries to reduce the leakage.    We have set up this page so you can follow along if you would like on her progress.  She is expected to be in the hospital for 5-7 days.  We will post updates on this page as well as pictures along the way. 

As soon as we know the exact time of surgery we will once again send out an update tomorrow night.  I just thought this would be a better way of keeping everyone informed instead of posting too many details on facebook.  We appreciate your prayers for Katie and our family during this time.  She is an amazing girl with such a great attitude and determination about her - she is so, so brave.
