Katie has received the double lung transplant that she has been waiting for. She is in the hospital and may be home sometime this week. She is experiencing pain from her surgery but gets better each day. There will be restrictions on what she can and cannot do, She will be limited on where she can go and on visitors.
There will be plenty of opportunities for people to help Katie and Grace once Katie comes home. A calendar will be set up for people to sign up to give rides, cook meals, dog walking and housecleaning to mention a few tasks.
Grace and Katie are grateful of all the support, love, concern and prayers you have shared with them. We will be posting updates on Katie's recovery. God Bless you all and thank you.
