Katie was having problems with her posture and rolling off her shoulders. In 6th grade she was diagnosed with Schueremans kyphosis disease. She has 6 spinal fractures. Slowly, the pain increased and her Thoracic curve worsened. We sought a second opinion and that Dr said surgery was needed. She was in constant pain and her internal organs were becoming compromised. 2 rods and 22 screws were to be placed. And here we are. Waiting for the 7-12 hr surgery to be done.
