Kathleen was diagnosed on Friday, 6/2/2017 , with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). She started chemotherapy on 6/6/2017, which is expected to continue for at least 4 weeks. Her daughter, Jenny, will be staying here indefinitely, and we will both be at Kathleen's side as often as possible. I hope to use this site to provide a means to communicate with Kathleen's community of friends. I am also hoping to let you know what you can do and when, as I am sure that many of you would like to do something to help.
