My world turned upside down on March 9th, when an MRI showed I had Pancreatic Cancer that had spread.  It was confirmed on March 11th in my Oncologist's office.  I will meet this disease head-on with my faith, lots of prayers from others, and my medical team.  I start aggressive chemo therapy on Friday, March 20th .  This journey will be long and hard.  Keep prayers coming for strength and healing (as I need a miracle) and for my family.  I appreciate your love, support, words of hope and encouragement, and prayers more than you know. **updated ... Dear prayer warriors and friends, God heard our prayers.  Yesterday (3/18/2020), my oncologist called with my liver biopsy results.   I still have pancreatic cancer with spread to my liver and lymph nodes.  However, I am in the 2% of pancreatic cancer patients that have Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor or PNET (peanut) for short.  My treatment plan is different now, working with my oncologist and the Mayo Clinic.  The goal is to put this cancer into "a state of dormancy".  They don't say remission.  We are still waiting on blood and test results but I will start treatment next week.  It is not as harsh as chemotherapy but will be lifelong.  I still need prayers, but I'm saying many prayers of Thanksgiving.**
