Three years ago Kathy was diagnosed with liver disease. After getting some treatment, she decided to move down to Texas to be closer to some of her cousins. After being in and out of the hospital a couple of times, she moved back to her home of Minnesota about a year ago. It seemed like her liver issues were in recession. Early in the morning on May 16th she was rushed to the hospital. The doctors concluded that she had a stroke caused by a blood clot in her brain. After a fast surgery to remove it, she was like the old Kathy again. She was then discharged to the Masonic home in Bloomington. There she started physical and occupational therapy. As well as Kathy was doing with her therapy, she was brought back to Methodist hospital. It was discovered on June 1st that the treatment for her stroke had caused her liver to go into full failure. It's with a heavy heart that her family has to tell her friends this devastating news. Well wishes and prayers are very much appreciated. We will let her know that she is in your prayers and keep you updated as best as possible.
