I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer . It was found during my routine mammogram . If I can pass anything on to others it would be to encourage you to get your annual mammogram — and request the 3D option if given a choice . Mine would not have been detected using the normal mammogram.
I have an MRI scheduled for July 6 and a lumpectomy on July 12.
Things are moving quickly and time is standing still at the same time . I was given results on June 21 and already scheduled for surgery .
I am scared and nervous but ready to move forward with this process . I trust the surgeon and the oncologist that I have chosen and feel that they are looking out for me .
I appreciate all of the positive words I have gotten from many of you . Positivity is so important right now.  Keep me in your prayers ❤️
