Kathryn Comer

On Thursday September 22nd, Kathryn began experiencing a migraine.  This quickly evolved to a trip to the Helena emergency room where after running some tests they found blood clots on her brain. That night she was flown with her husband Dave by her side to Harborview Medical Center. Since being at Harborview they have performed a catheter procedure to remove the clots, then an emergency surgery to alleviate the pressure from the backflow  the clots were causing into her brain. Kathryn is currently in recovery at Harborview's neurological ICU where she is being carefully monitored for more clots while also undergoing PT and OT to help get her language and mobility back.
    As friends and family of Kathryn's we are tryingit to keep everyone updated in one place. We really appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this challenging time, we will be passing them on to Kathryn while she is on her road to recovery.
