Kathi was very proud to be a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines for nine years and  survived five separate types of cancer over the last 16+ years of her life. Two breast cancers, two types of ovarian cancer, and one Squamous cell cancer, (which we caught early enough to be excised completely). She fought an incredible fight, during which time she had two knee replacements from them deteriorating from a chemo regimen, developed a mitral heart valve deterioration (again, from the chemo) and her late husband Tim, developed a very rare form of cancer, himself and passed in 2014. Throughout all this, Kathi maintained a sense of humor and a resolute determination to survive, live life completely according to God's plan for her, and inspire others in their own fight for life. She remains held in quite high esteem by her fellow SWA team members, who look to her story for inspiration whenever they come across their own battles to fight. This year, Kathi also joined the incredible St. Margaret's Episcopal Church community, after relocating to West Little Rock from Texarkana. Kathi and I had been married since this last May 18th, and we resided happily with three very spoiled rotten dogs of dubious ancestry. John Bullen
