On Tuesday, I will go into the hospital for an 11:00 surgery, it is expected to take about five hours.  When the surgery is completed the surgeon will contact a friend who will start the information tree to notify everyone of my condition.  Please know that we will be updating this site with information as soon as we can.  I will be unavailable for calls while I'm in the hospital.  Feel free to write to me here in CaringBridge as often as you want.  I will try to respond when I feel up to it.  I would like to request that you don't call me during the time I'll be in the hospital so that I may focus on recovery and getting home.


What is a prayer? Prayer doesn't only happen when we kneel or put our hands together and focus and expect things from God
Thinking positive and wishing good for others is a prayer
When you cook something to nourish family and friends, that's a prayer
When we send off our near and dear ones and say, 'drive safely' or 'be safe', that's a prayer
When you are helping someone in need by giving your time and energy, you are praying
When you forgive someone, that's a prayer
Prayer is a vibration, a feeling, a thought
Prayer is the voice of love, friendship, genuine relationships
Prayer is an expression of your silent being
Keep praying always....
