Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
I was initially diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in February of 2017. Chemo, double mastectomy, MRSA infection and reconstruction removal, radiation and ongoing oral treatment.
Fast forward to February 2020 and what we thought was pneumonia turned out to be Stage IV with lesions to liver, lung/plural cavity, lymph nodes and bones.
Stage IV, or Metastatic Breast Cancer, has no cure, but has a long list of available treatments. I'm trying to keep living my best life while jumping over the hurdles that cancer throws my way.
